Forwarding data to another DICOM device requires certain privileges. If you do not have the forward button on your worklist, contact your system administrator.

You can automatically forward studies to a destination. To set up auto-forward to send a copy of every object it receives to a specific destination, go to the device's DICOM settings table and enable auto-forwarding. To automatically send certain studies to a specific device, set up a forward action.

When forwarding studies, the server establishes a DICOM Association with one or more entities, and send images and report objects to them.  Generally, the server sends each object on its own DICOM Association.  The number of simultaneous DICOM Associations is configurable by support.
