Conditional forwarding

To automatically send data matching a specific set of criteria to a specific device, set up an auto-forward action, as follows:

  1. Create a filter identifying what you want downloaded to your workstation.

  2. Go to the Other Lists page, and click the Forward column for the filter.

  3. Click on Enable.

  4. If you want to include all existing date, click on Apply To Current Content.

  5. Enter the maximum number of studies to process each cycle in Batch size. An empty batch size value disables the limit setting and all studies matching the filter criteria will be executed during the action cycle.

  6. Set the time you want the studies to forward.

  7. Select the destinations from the Targets list.

  8. Check the Updates box if you want subsequent updates to go to the device.

  9. Check Report Only to forward just the report objects, private objects and the key image objects.

  10. If the target is a registered viewer, click Thumbnails Only to prefetch just the thumbnail images to the workstation.

  11. Click on Configure.

If a limit is defined, the system maintains a first-in-first-out queue. Studies that match the filter criteria at the time the action cycle occurs are appended to the end of the queue. Then the system applies the action to studies at the head of the queue. The action’s Batch Size setting defines the number of studies processed. The procedure repeats with each action cycle until the queue is empty.

To disable auto forwarding, open the configuration window on the Other Lists page again, remove the Enable checkmark, and click Configure.
