E-mail accounting summary actions

 

Accounting reports can be automatically send via e-mail at scheduled times. The report is a configured e-mail containing a hyperlink to the matching accounting report page.

 

To configure the server to automatically send accounting summary reports, do the following:

 

  1. From the Accounting page, create and save a report layout.
  2. Click the Worklist tab.
  3. Click the Other Lists tab.
  4. In the list menu, select Accounting Lists.
  5. Use the search tools to find the report layout filter created in Step 1.
  6. Click the Send Summary column’s button for the row for the report layout filter. The send summary action configuration page appears.
  7. Check the Enable button.
  8. Define the scheduling settings.
  9. Enter the recipient e-mail addresses.
  10. Click Configure.

 

When scheduled to run, the action runs the selected filter and sends an e-mail to the recipient list containing a link to the results. Click the link in the e-mail and enter your user credentials to log in and access the report.

 

The e-mail template is available from the Admin/Settings/Customize Layout XML Files page. From the Layout Type list, select Accounting Message. For details on customizing an XML template, refer to the eRAD Layout XML Customization manual.
