Insurance providers

 

While patients have different insurance plans, much of the provider information is the same. eRAD Scheduler can store this general information to reduce the amount of information entered for each patient. To add, modify or remove insurance provider data, users require administrator privileges.

 

To get to the insurance provider table,

  1. Click on the Scheduling tab.

  2. Click on the Tables tab.

  3. Click the Insurance Providers Table button/hyperlink.

To add an insurance provider to the RIS, follow these steps:

  1. Click the New Insurance Provider button, .

  2. Fill in the fields on the page. Required fields are highlighted.

  3. Click one of the following buttons to finish:

To edit an existing insurance provider,

  1. Use the Filter button, , to locate the insurance provider in the table.

  2. Click the Edit button, , in the row containing the facility’s information.

  3. Edit the fields as necessary.
