Servers recognize and adjust date and times for time zone offsets. Most dates and times displayed on web pages and entered by users reflect the user’s current time zone. Adjusted dates and times are displayed on the web pages in green text. Raw dates and times, when used, appear in black text.
When you log in, your time zone is defined by the selected reading location. If reading locations are disabled, it’s the user’s preferred time zone. If the user has not configured a preferred time zone, the user’s group’s time zone is used. If no user or group time zone has been set up, the server’s (specifically, the server you logged into) time zone is used.
Your effective time zone is displayed immediately above the main tabs in the top, right corner of the web page.
