Click the Admin tab.
Click the Information tab.
Scroll to the license, plug-in information or version section.
The server license controls the functions the server can use. Each server has its own license. The contents of the license, and the functions available on each server, appear in the license information section of the information page.
Registered servers have access to site management services, responsible for monitoring the performance of the system. The registration state and associated information is displayed in the Server Registration section of the Information page.
Plug-in modules are controlled through individual licensed. Details of each installed plug-in module license appear on the information page.
Version information for each system component appears in the version table on the information page.
Renewing a server license
Licenses with access to the License Server will renew automatically. The server sends a license request file to the registry and receives a new license in return.
To manually renew an existing license, do the following:
If renewing an expired license,
Open a browser and enter the server’s URL. A server exception page appears.
Click the Generate Extension License Request Form link.
If renewing a valid license,
Click the Admin tab.
Click the Information tab.
In the User License Information section, click the Generate Extension License Request Form link.
When prompted, save the file to your workstation.
Send the saved file to eRAD support. They will return you a new license file which you can install as instructed below.
Installing a server license
After receiving a license file, save it to your workstation and install it as follows:
If installing a license for the first time,
Open a browser and enter the server’s URL. A server exception page appears.
Click the Upload License link.
If installing a renewed license,
Click the Admin tab.
Click the Information tab.
In the User License Information section, click the Upload License link.
Click the Browse button and select the saved license file.
Click Open.
Changing server license settings
To make changes to an installed license, you can generate a completely new license, or request a change to the current one. Creating a new license requires entering the license settings from scratch. The change request method starts with the existing license information and permits you to modify the existing settings. To obtain a license change request form, do the following:
Click the Admin tab.
Click the Information tab.
In the User License Information section, click the Generate Change License Request Form link.
When prompted, save the file to your workstation.
Send the saved file to eRAD support. They will review your request and once approved, return to you a new license file which you can install as instructed above.
