Sometimes, it is necessary to temporarily suspend communications between the server and a remote device. eRAD PACS supports this without modifying the configuration by disabling the device from the Devices page.
To disable a device, go to the Devices page and click the green light for the device. The device configuration page appears. Enter the number of hours or days to suspend communications, and click OK. All transmissions to this device are put aside until the period expires. When the period expires, the device is automatically reconnected, and the suspended data is added into the task queue.
To manually re-enable a device, click on the red light for the device and enter a value of 0 on the configuration page. This terminates the suspension. All queued communications with this device get queued again for delivery.
